- Synopsis
- Avant-garde opera from composer Philip Glass and director Robert Wilson. The plot revolves, loosely, around Einstein’s relationship to the creation of the atomic bomb. Originally premiered in 1976, this revival is a production by the Theatre du Chatelet and was filmed in 2014 by arts filmmaker Don Kent. The music is performed by the Philip Glass Ensemble, and the choreography devised by Lucinda Childs for her Lucinda Childs Dance Company.
