Synopsis
Four video lessons produced by the European Space Agency. The lessons focus on explaining basic scientific concepts and showing the difference between being on Earth and in space. All videos are now available for online viewing and downloading. A flag can be clicked to select the language.

Mission 1: Newton in Space
While on board the International Space Station astronaut Pedro Duque conducts demonstrations explaining Newton’s Three Laws of Motion.

Mission 2: Body Space
During his DELTA Mission, astronaut André Kuipers performed a number of physiology demonstrations showing the effects of weightlessness on the human body.

Mission 3: Space Matters
During the Eneide Mission in 2005, astronaut Roberto Vittori was filmed conducting demonstrations designed to explore the different structures, states and properties of matter.

Mission 4: Space Robotics
Astronauts, robotic experts, teachers and their pupils from schools in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom explore the theme of space robotics.
