Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story

Synopsis
This documentary brings to light the unusual story of Hedy Lamarr, a glamorous actress-icon of the 1930s and 40s and the inventor who perfected a radio system to throw Nazi torpedoes off course during the Second World War. The film uses interviews and clips with never-before-heard audio tapes of Lamarr speaking about her career including the famous nude scene in the 1933 film ECSTASY and her ground-breaking but uncredited inventions whose concepts are now considered the basis of the cell phone.
