Living on the Go

Synopsis
A team of researchers from the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh) and the University of Sussex, have joined together to look at the impact of climate change on migration. This short film, based on their research, follows two Bangladeshi communities who were affected by the cyclone Aila in 2009. Bangladesh is a densely populated country and one of the most vulnerable to the impacts of a changing global climate: cyclones, floods, erosion and drought have the potential to destroy the livelihoods of millions and force them to move. This is the first of three films in the series Climate and Development Films commissioned by the Climate and Development Knowledge Network. [20 minutes]
