Synopsis: This DVD collection, which contains 200 of the most influential music videos produced in Britain, is the result of a three-year university research project in partnership with the British Library and the BFI. Each video represents a landmark in the history of music videos: a new genre, an original film technique, an innovative post-production method or a distribution channel.
The box includes 6 discs and a booklet explaining the history of British music videos and rare productions credits, which have been compiled using archive materials. The discs are organised around the following themes:
