Boy in the World

Synopsis
For many children, learning how to live in the world begins in a pre-school classroom. Children with developmental disabilities are no exception. This documentary follows four-year-old Ronen, a boy with Down’s syndrome, who attends a fully inclusive early childhood education centre. Through interviews with teachers, administrators, parents and disability professionals, the film explores the inclusion process in depth, and shows how inclusive classrooms can benefit both children with special needs and their peers.
