Alternative title
An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power
Synopsis
Eleven years after the release of An Inconvenient Truth, the US Vice President Al Gore is continuing his fight against climate change. The threat has intensified, and President Trump’s views- as voiced in the 2015 Paris climate summit- raise the crisis level even further. Gore travels the world to deliver lectures and meets with global leaders in an attempt to convince them of the benefits of investing in renewable energy. He highlights the progress that has been made in tackling the issues surrounding climate change in the last ten years and discusses the many problems, which still remain. Although the film did not get many good reviews, its value as a teaching tool was acknowledged by some critics.
