Synopsis
A collection of four engineering documentaries looking at how great engineering challenges were overcome in history. A materials scientist and a structural engineer are challenged to recreate a submarine, a Roman war machine, an airship and an Egyptian Shaft tomb using only the knowledge, technology and materials available at the time. The episodes include: THE FIRST SUBMARINE, THE ROMAN WAR MACHINE, THE FIRST AIRSHIP and FOILING THE TOMB RAIDERS. The episodes can be purchased individually or as a package for use in education and training.
