Rigby Graham’s Irish Voyage

Synopsis
This documentary follows painter, printmaker, muralist, illustrator, writer and teacher Rigby Graham as he visits many of his old haunts in Ireland and creates new work along the way. Graham has a dry sense of humour and enlivens the film with the cryptic commentaries he writes daily on postcards to send home. Enduring rough roads and stormy seas, this ‘retrospective road movie’ culminates in a spectacular climb among the puffins to an ancient monastery perched on a rocky island sanctuary set deep in the Atlantic: a pilgrimage that inspires the artist to reflect on his life and work. DISC 1 includes the main film and 6 slide shows and DISC 2 includes 7 extra films and 6 slide shows.
