Leeds - United!

Synopsis
This controversial account of a strike by Leeds clothing workers was, when it was broadcast in 1974, the most expensive film to be made for British television. Featuring a huge cast, striking black and white photography and a script by Colin Welland which is highly critical of both bosses and unions (the strike in question was an unofficial one), Leeds-United! is a defiantly angry film which serves as a reminder of the social unrest which characterised the early 1970s.
