Contents: PLATONOV with Rex Harrison in the title role (Play of the Month, 1971); THE WOOD DEMON with Ian Holm in the lead role (1974); THE PROPOSAL (Play of the Month) with Harry Moore; A WEDDING with Anne Robson (1962); THE SEAGULL with Zoe Caldwell and Michael Gambon (Play of the Month, 1968); 2 versions of UNCLE VANYA: Freddie Jones in the title role in 1970 and David Warner in the role of Vanya (Performance, 1991); THREE SISTERS with Eileen Atkins, Janet Suzman and Michelle Dotrice (Play of the Month, 1970); 2 versions of THE CHERRY ORCHARD with Peggy Ashcroft as Madam Ranevsky (1962) and in 1981 with Judi Dench. The six DVDs have individual extras, all of which relate to Chekhov.
