Ebola Frontline

Synopsis
The documentary confronts the key issues in the fight against the deadly Ebola virus, giving a firsthand view of its physical and emotional impact on whole families and on the medical staff treating them. With specially adapted cameras attached to their goggles, volunteers from Medécins Sans Frontières - Doctors Without Borders’ (MSF) working in the high risk zone of an Ebola Case Management Centre in Sierra Leone give viewers a very real sense of what it’s like on the frontline. Exclusive footage also reveals the medical staff’s frustrations at the lack of support from the international community and pharmaceutical companies in fighting the Ebola virus, which has been responsible for more than 5,000 deaths since the outbreak began.
