Synopsis
Documentary about Georges Braque, who played a vital part in the development of Cubism and allied himself with the Fauvist art movement. Michaël Gaumnitz’s film depicts the evolution of his art by way of Braque’s work and the places in which he lived: Le Havre; L’Estaque, with its Fauvist colours; and Varengeville in Normandy, his final home and a vital source of inspiration for his light and palette.
