Synopsis
Series of three programmes which xamines three extraordinary engineering projects that are all very different but have two things in common: incredibly complex technology; people with highly specialised skills. Subjects range from building nuclear submarines and jumbo jet engines to secret firefighting robots and stealth wind turbines. Each episode reveals how one particular project is planned and executed, exploring the business behind creating the best and most lucrative technology in the face of fierce worldwide competition.
