Death on the Dole

Synopsis
Reports show there is a definite connection between unemployment and suicide. This World in Action film shows three cases: a 25-year old electrician who found the pressures too much for him to take when he was made redundant, and two older men, one who had worked at the British Steel Works at Bilston, and another who threw himself in front of a train because he thought he would be next to lose his job.
