Inside the Global Jihad

Synopsis
This programme features interviews with leading participants from both sides in what George W. Bush called the ‘War on Terror’, including contributions from the architects of the West’s response to 9/11, such as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, ex-US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage and Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres. The film’s producer also gained unparalleled access to people who usually shun the Western media: the jihadis themselves. The documentary features interviews with senior jihadis in Beirut (al-Qaeda), Gaza (al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas), Afghanistan (Taliban) and Pakistan (Taliban in Waziristan).
