A remarkable historical record of Plymouth’s pre-war history filmed by local camera enthusiasts and featuring rare pictures of Plymouth pier and city centre, as well as Plymothians at leisure. It includes the new Art Deco lido at Tinside, the opening of Roborough aerodrome, the 1937 Wesley Chapel fire, celebrities arriving on ocean liners at Millbay, and street parties, carnivals and parades.
