Extreme Anxiety: Winning the Battle

Synopsis: The DVD follows the progress of two patients with severe anxiety symptoms over a period of fifteen years. It shows them in extreme distress as they describe their disabling symptoms. Later, more is learnt about the root of their problems and the viewer is given a better understanding of underlying causes. Both had difficulties with medication misuse and we discover why this happened. They are able to share what was important for them in treatment and what helped them to get better. Both talk about the importance of staff attitudes and approaches. The psychiatrist is Dr Flavia Leslie.
