Synopsis
Marc Singer’s documentary depicts the lives of a community of homeless people living in an abandoned tunnel in the New York subway. This edition features a large number of extras, including a director’s commentary, THE MAKING OF DARK DAYS (2000), (a documentary about the making of the film); THE TUNNEL TODAY (2011) in which Singer revisits the tunnel; LIFE AFTER THE TUNNEL, which features an update on the film’s characters and an essay by film critic Kenneth Turan.
