Synopsis

A documentary profile of controversial film director and screenwriter, John Milius. The directors trace Milius’s career from his childhood aspirations to join the military to his formative years at the USC Film School and his work on films such as APOCALYPSE NOW, JAWS, CONANA THE BARBARIAN, DIRTY HARRY and RED DAWN.

The film includes interviews with Milius himself and contributions from friends and family and a wide range of Hollywood figures including Francis Ford Coppola, Harrison Ford, George Lucas, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Martin Scorsese and Oliver Stone.
