Five Ways to Save the World

Synopsis
This BBC programme looks at the dangers of climate change and the ways in which scientists are attempting to combat it. Their plans to save the environment include shielding the earth from the sun with extra clouds, storing artificial trees underground, using heavy artillery to fire sulphur into the stratosphere and boosting the ocean’s plankton populations to absorb carbon dioxide.
