Britain and the Holocaust

Synopsis
A graphic and highly informative resource, this DVD provides a frank and detailed insight into Britain’s role at the time of the Holocaust and Nazi domination, with useful footage from that period. In addition to discussing the historical challenges faced, it discusses the issues that can be drawn from those experiences and are relevant in Britain today.

The topics discussed include: the various racist policies in Nazi -occupied Europe, including anti-Semitism, and related British immigration policy; the displacement of people after the war and parallels in Europe and the world in subsequent years, such as the genocides in Bosnia, Rwanda and Kosovo in the 1990s.
