- A DVD compilation with 12 short films for age 7+ and 11+ and teaching guidelines, supported by online resources. Intended for Key Stage 2 or 3 but could be used by older students.
Extending the potential of short films from literacy into modern foreign language learning, this resource is suitable for teaching a range of French language skills such as speaking, listening, vocabulary, reading and writing, and developing children’s intercultural understanding. It consists of twelve short lively films, made by French filmmakers, carefully selected to stimulate children to speak French. It is accompanied by guidelines for using the films to stretch students’ capacity to use the language effectively.
