Nurture Room, The

Synopsis
Mike Pinder’s documentary follows the progress of three troubled young children, with backgrounds in some of the most socially deprived parts of Glasgow. The film shows how their lives are transformed by the careful and patient work of their teachers, and how the children’s lives are changed by the nurture groups in their schools. The film shows the viewer not only the amazing transformation that the three pupils go through, but the benefits to their schools, families, and broader local communities.
