- Synopsis
- Filmed over the summer of 2012, GROWING UP POOR follows six teenagers as they struggle to make ends meet living on less then £10.00 a day. Speaking with quick wit and brutal honesty, each of the film’s subjects takes the viewer into their world and paints a bleak portrait of Britain in the grips of a recession, highlighting the lack of opportunities for young people who find themselves in the poverty trap.
