Synopsis

This DVD examines sleep and considers why it is necessary to a healthy existence. It looks at the four stages of sleep, and the causes and impact of not sleeping. The film is presented by psychologist Dr Steven Taylor and includes expert comments from Professor Kevin Morgan and Professor Jim Horne from the University of Loughborough, and Professor Gareth Gaskell from the University of York. It is suitable for Psychology students at senior secondary level, as well as those in higher education.
