Mind of a Leader I: The Prince

Synopsis
THE MIND OF A LEADER is an international leadership project led by Benjamin Holk Henriksen and Fredrik Lassenius. In 2005 they set out on a ‘pilgrimage’ with their camera, to interview modern leaders on how they deal with the very sensitive and controversial issues raised in Niccolo Machiavelli’s ‘The Prince’ (Italy, 1513) and Sun Tzu’s ‘The Art of War’ (China 500 B.C.).

The research, made up of interviews with 34 international leaders and experts from different cultures and trades all over the world, lasted more than two years. The result is the 26 chapter documentary series ‘The Mind of a Leader I’, and the 13 chapter documentary series ‘The Mind of a Leader II’.

Each chapter features questions, conclusions and advice in regards to both individual and organisational success. The series examines different aspects of modern leadership and encourages future leaders to be responsible and create an efficient, dynamic, and humane environment, while achieving ambitious goals. The topics discussed in each chapter of ‘The Mind of a Leader’ are closely related to the issues raised in the 26 chapters of Niccolo Machiavelli’s controversial strategic masterpiece ‘The Prince’ (Italy, 1513). The Mind of a Leader presents each chapter of ' The Prince’ in 26 episodes.
