Child of Our Time 2013
- Synopsis
- CHILD OF OUR TIME is a landmark series that has followed the development of a group of 25 children from a range of genetic, social, geographical and ethnic backgrounds since their birth in 2000.
This special draws on a collection of observational footage, revealing the remarkable stories of the children and their families as they reflect on life over the last 13 years and begin a new chapter: the teenage years. The programmes also bring the stories up to date.
The age of thirteen marks a time of significant change. The children are now at secondary school. How have they coped with this transition? How are they dealing with the challenging physiological and biological changes of teenage life? And finally, what are their hopes and dreams for the next ten years? - Language
