Dome of the Pantheon, The

Synopsis
This programme looks at the architectural and engineering problems underlying the construction of the Pantheon in Paris, modelled on the Roman Pantheon. Begun in 1764 and completed in 1790, the history of the building has also been preserved in architectural drawings and models, which are examined and explained in this film.
