Sex and Ethics

Synopsis
This compilation of four films is designed to provide teachers with dynamic lessons on sexual ethics. The first film, NATURAL LAW (21 minutes), takes a rollercoaster tour through the history of sex from the beginnings of humankind to the publication of the Kinsey Report. The second film, SITUATION ETHICS (23 minutes), takes its title from Joseph Fletcher’s groundbreaking 1966 study. UTILITARIANISM (24 minutes), looks at sexual freedom in relation to ethics and KANT & SEX examines sexual behaviour in the light of Kant’s teaching that as rational beings we all have intrinsic worth and should never use others as a means to an end.
