Synopsis
What happens to children who play truant and are labelled ‘disruptive’? Newlands Education Guidance Centre in Birmingham is one of many units around the country which try to help. This documentary records what happens among staff and pupils in a so-called ‘sin bin’. At Newlands, four adults face the task of rehabilitating 20 children.
