Last Ghost of War, The
- Synopsis
- The end of the Vietnam War in 1975 did not bring about an end to the suffering of the Vietnamese people. Kevin Kline narrates this documentary which puts a human face on the cost of war: the millions of victims of Agent Orange, both Vietnamese and American. The ongoing lawsuit brought about by 4 Vietnamese victims against 32 US chemical companies highlights issues of corporate responsibility and ethics. Viewers are forced to contemplate the moral justification of using chemical weapons (or in this case a herbicide containing deadly dioxin) in 21st century warfare when their legacy appears to be so lethal.
