Meeting Ron Britton
- Synopsis
- This film shows renowned psychoanalyst Ron Britton talking about his life and work to analysts and candidates in training. Ronald Britton studied Medicine at University College London and University College Hospital Medical School between 1951 and 1956. He specialised in neurology at Queen Square, in psychiatry and child psychiatry at The Maudsley Hospital and in psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic before starting the psychoanalytic training at the British Institute of Psychoanalysis in 1974 where he was appointed as a training analyst in 1985. He is a renowned international writer, lecturer who has made major contributions to Kleinian thinking.
