- Synopsis
- This film approaches the question of what happens to African migrants once they have been granted political refugee status in European countries through the story of three Somali refugees. Khaled, Shukri and Ali arrive in Turin along with 200 other refugees and squat in an abandoned clinic. The film follows their stories over the years, showing life in the clinic, internal conflicts, negotiations with city authorities and struggles with bureaucracy. The story of Khaled, Shukri and Ali represents a collective history, an emblematic tale of all European countries today and their respective immigration policies and the changes occurring in the social fabric of European cities.
