- Synopsis
- Animated film for people with learning difficulties, showing six stories about people making friends or starting relationships. They all have learning disabilities, and one is unable to walk or talk. It shows how people with learning disabilities can: Meet new people; Fall out and make friends again; Look for a partner if they are gay; Say no to a relationship they don’t want; Keep themselves safe; Take the time to get closer to somebody. All the voices on the soundtrack are those of actors with learning disabilities. Includes a booklet. Made by Leeds Animation Workshop in consultation with Mencap, CHANGE, and other organisations.
