Synopsis
This new HD restoration of Fritz Lang’s epic two-part, five-hour version of the Middle German poem Die Nibelungenlied, tells the story of the hero Siegfried, his death and the subsequent vengeance of his widow Kriemhild on those who brought about his downfall.
The Masters of Cinema version is available on DVD and Blu-Ray and is accompanied by a new one-hour documentary on the restoration of the film as well as a 56-page booklet with new and vintage essays on Lang and the film’s production.
