World Without Sun
- Synopsis
- Jacques Cousteau won Best Documentary Feature Academy Award for his 1964 film WORLD WITHOUT SUN, which documents an experiment in which a team of divers, scientists and engineers attempt to live for a month in a purpose-built base on the sea bed. The film shows the crew of oceanauts exploring the Red Sea while Cousteau ventures forth in his yellow diving saucer as back at base the team eat, drink and even smoke together in their village under the sea.
