Faust

Synopsis
German-language film version of the Faust legend, loosely adapted from Goethe’s play by Russian film director Alexander Sokurov. As with Sokurov’s previous works, FAUST is a visually inventive film whose meaning remains elusive, especially when considered in the context of the previous three films in the directors ‘Tetralogy of Power’.
