Gaugin: The Full Story

Synopsis
Waldemar Januszczak charts the life of artist Paul Gauguin through the many twists and turns which take him from an idyllic childhood in Peru to his death on the Marquesas Islands. Januszczak argues that the fame of Gaugin’s Tahitian paintings has blinded us to his other, many accomplishments: as sculptor, musician, print maker, journalist and ceramicist.
