Hopper’s Silence

Synopsis
A documentary portrait of American artist Edward Hopper by director Brian O’Doherty, who compares the paintings to the locations that inspired them. Includes footage of Hopper and his wife Jo from a television interview during which Hopper lives up to his reputation for taciturnity by letting his wife answer most of the questions for him.
