Synopsis
'The Foundations of Wealth’ combines documentary film material and animation to present an introduction to economic principles. The series is structured around the activities of two people, cartoon characters, and the community they live in, through a series of economic changes and developments, that show the foundations of basic economic principles and mechanisms, which are then presented at work in the contemporary world. The series is designed for use in the classroom but also suitable for any course where the basics of economics need to be introduced or explained in a clear, memorable and entertaining way.
