My Name was Sabina Spielrein

Synopsis
Sabina Spielrein was a Russian Jewish psychiatrist whose diaries and letters, which were re-discovered in 1977, showed the extent of her relationship with Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung and the influence she had on their lives and work, as well as revealing her own pioneering contributions to psychoanalysis and child psychology. This film uses reconstructions and readings of her letters to tell Spielrein’s story. In German with English subtitles.
