It celebrates their achievements, exposes their flaws, but also poses the unsettling question ‘does such success also bring happiness’? The women featured are: Madame Chiang Kai-Shek, Coco Chanel, Wallis Simpson, Hedy Lamarr, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Martha Gellhorn, Indira Ghandi, Josephine Baker, Amelia Earhart, Agatha Christie, Ruth Westheimer, and Maria Montessori.
