Notes
The film is part of an educational package which includes 30 pages of notes for students and teachers. The notes contain extensive analysis of the Shakespeare characters that appear in the film together with the invented cast. Within the notes there are 10 pages dedicated to the character of Macbeth illustrating how to use the text for creative writing assignments and GCSE essays. The invented characters in MACBETH’S DISCIPLE (i.e. those that do not appear in Shakespeare’s Macbeth) were evolved using Exploring Character method invented by Lloyd Trott for teaching dramaturgical text analysis to acting students at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
