Good Doctorate Video, The

Synopsis
This is the fourth in a series of resources to support research students. It addresses one of the most intractable issues for institutions: improving the qualification rate of their doctoral programmes. The video will help doctoral students manage their time and complete their thesis on schedule (and will help their supervisors to support them in this).
It covers: planning towards a distant deadline; how ‘life’ can get in the way; being realistic about the time and cost; setting intermediate stages; working with your supervisor.

The programme is available for sale to universities, colleges and other organisations. For a one-off payment, institutions can be licensed to make the video available to all their registered students either in DVD format or via an intranet or other secure digital platform.
