Horizon: Is Everything we Know About the Universe Wrong?
- Synopsis
- Cosmology fights a constant battle to describe, analyse and simply comprehend our universe - a thing of unimaginable size and astonishing complexity, governed by forces impossible to recreate on Earth. The latest in a long line of mysteries to threaten our understanding is "dark flow" - a strange force discovered in discarded data, whose implications are hotly disputed. To make it into the Standard Model of Cosmology any science must cross the highest of hurdles. Will dark flow stand up to the scientific spotlight? And can the Standard Model and our concept of the universe stand without its inclusion?
