Colditz

Synopsis
Over the years, Colditz the prison camp, designed by the Nazis to hold high-risk and politically important prisoners, has become a symbol of adventure, heroism, remarkable ingenuity, and determination. The interest surrounding the castle and the prisoners it struggled to keep in continues to capture imaginations today. The BBC’s award-winning 25-part drama series COLDITZ (1972-73), starring Robert Wagner and David McCallum, helped to fuel the legend about the daring escapes made by the real inmates.

DVD extras include an interview with author Major P.R. Reid.
