Paris 1919

Synopsis
Paul Cowan’s feature-length documentary combines archival footage and dramatic re-enactments to take viewers inside the peace talks that followed World War I. Inspired by Margaret MacMillan’s book Paris 1919: Six Months that changed the World, this film chronicles an extraordinary historical event that dissolved empires, redrew maps, engineered the Treaty of Versailles - and created far-reaching consequences that continue to afflict and trouble our world today.
