Synopsis

This DVD contains reconstructions of 10 short pieces choreographed by Isadora Duncan, performed by the Isadora Duncan Dance Ensemble under the direction of Andrea Mantell Seidel with resident guest artist Bambi Anderson. The dances are preceded by a commentary by Andrea Mantell Seidel and Julia Levien.

The dances included are Ave Maria, Harp Etude, Gypsy, Narcissus, Brahms Waltzes, Bacchanal, Furies, Mother, Revolutionary and Impressions of Revolutionary Russia.
