He discusses the 11% growth in Chinese exports this year; the impact of the removal in 2005 of controls on the quantity of exports from China and Asian countries; the complex issues and economic effects of importing and exporting goods from a continent as diverse as Africa; is it time to say enough to global integration - a level playing field would be a disaster for Africa’s manufacturing exports - they need significant privileges.
